Cut My Boards / Ordering guide

Board Cutting & Ordering Guide

Practical answers to help you choose MDF, MFC and decorative furniture boards, prepare a cutting list and plan edging, machining, delivery or collection.

How do I order boards cut to size?

Choose a board from the shop and check its decor code, core, texture, sheet size and thickness. Prepare your finished panel dimensions and quantities, then use the online cutting list to specify your requirements. Add edging and machining where available, and review the complete specification before ordering.

Which boards do you supply?

Our range includes MDF, MFC and decorative furniture panels from manufacturers including Egger, Kronospan, Cleaf, Xylo Surfaces, Saviola, Serica, Senoplast, Swiss Krono, Alvic, Unilin, Shinnoki and Pfleiderer. The material, surface and available thickness vary by product. Use the product page to confirm the exact board rather than relying on colour alone. Explore the decor ranges to compare finishes.

What should I include in my cutting list?

List every panel separately with its finished length, width, quantity and required thickness. Check the grain direction for directional decors and identify which edges you want finished. Use consistent units and check the units requested by the cutting-list tool. Include clear panel names or references so you can identify parts when planning your project. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure how to enter a detail.

Can I choose which edges are finished?

Yes. Specify the edges to be finished in your cutting list. Edging is selected to complement the chosen decor, and the appropriate options depend on the board. Think about which edges will remain visible after assembly, including shelf fronts and exposed cabinet sides. Ask the team for help if you are unsure which edging to select.

Can I order full sheets?

Full-sheet supply is available alongside cut-to-size ordering. Check the stock sheet dimensions on the product page and confirm that your access, transport or delivery arrangements suit the panel size. A full sheet and a finished panel are different specifications, so review the selected option carefully.

Do you offer CNC machining?

We offer CNC cutting, drilling and grooves for cabinetry and furniture components. Available machining options depend on the product and project. For a more detailed requirement, send a drawing and explain the material, quantities and intended component. Visit our CNC cutting page or contact the team to discuss the specification before ordering.

Do you supply trade customers?

Yes. We supply cabinet makers, joiners, kitchen fitters and other trades, as well as DIY customers. For larger or repeat orders, send your cutting list and project requirements so we can discuss pricing and current lead times. See our trade board cutting and edging service.

Can I collect my order?

Collection is available from our Hayes premises. Choose the available collection option and arrange the collection with the team; do not assume an order is ready as soon as it is placed. For delivery, review the destination and the delivery charge shown for your order, or contact us if your order requires a quotation.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

The website has a VAT display control so you can choose to view prices including or excluding VAT. Check the selected display mode when comparing prices, then review the basket and checkout totals, including any edging, machining and delivery charges, before payment.

What should I check before submitting an order?

Check the exact decor code, core, texture, thickness, finished panel sizes, quantities, grain direction and edging. Confirm any machining details and your delivery or collection information. Screen images can look different from physical finishes; if colour or texture is critical, ask about a sample before placing the main order.
